AMD vs Intel, anche in ambito server. AMD ha infatti lanciato nei giorni scorsi una una sfida a Intel per decretare il re nell'ambito server dual-core x86. Per l'occasione AMD avrebbe schierato i nuovi Opteron 800 e 200 contro i corrispondenti processori server x86 di Intel.
Purtroppo Intel rifiuta di scendere in campo, parola del CEO Otellini:
"I saw the ad this morning over my coffee, I have always thought that companies and products are best judged in the marketplace, and I will leave it at that."
Parola al mercato dunque. Paura di perdere?
