ACard: una soluzione per il backup in poco spazio

AACard ha mostrato delle soluzioni interessanti, tra cui alcune SCSI. Oltre ai tipici adattatori SCSI/IDE, erano esposteo molte schede RAID che utilizzano un proprio controller. L'ultima soluzione di ACard utilizza uno di questi controller per gestire due cartucce iVDR (Information Versatile Disk for Removable usage). RAID 1 mirroring as fast as you can plug in the second drive. Well, almost. Information is stored on one drive and as soon as the second in inserted, the new drive is reimaged to the other. These storage drives from Hitachi are currently available in sizes of 3.1" x 4.3" x 0.5" thick (80 mm x 110 mm x 12.7 mm). If that is too big for you, there is another cartridge that is 3.1" x 2.6" x 0.4" (80 mm x 67 mm x 10 mm) and a proposed form factor of 2" x 2" x 0.3" (50 mm x 50 mm x 8 mm). Tutto è connesso al sistema principale tramite USB 2.0, per realizzare un backup dati SOHO e utenti singoli che cercano un mezzo sicuro e facile da usare.
